---Thirteen years ago when I was 48 my life changed because of a great idea which had come to me...
---...I'd realized a way a person could, in one fell swoop, increase his or her chances toward offsetting diseases in general while at the same time increasing his or her chances toward living a longer life.
---...And I don't mean one of those 'old and shriveled up longer lives' which people often associate with old age. I'm speaking here 'robust, active, strong body longer life.'
---I hadn't come across this idea by accident. I figured it out. My years of study in medicine and numerous other fields had given me the scientific backup I'd needed to believe in the conclusions I'd come to from having put together a few simple and universally known truths which few people, unfortunately, generally act upon.
---...For some reason ('human nature' I suppose), 'man' chooses to make things so much more complicated than they really are...and routinely misses the boat.
---At any rate, here is what I thought to myself:
"In general, Nature protects 'youthful' people from getting disease."
---Put another way,
"Young people have an innately instilled, genetically inherited greater chance (than older people) toward not getting disease."
---Of course young people do become ill, but I was thinking 'statistics' and 'averages'...probabilities: the 'odds' or 'likelihood' or 'chances' for developing disease in general increases as we become older. That's a given. So I said to myself,
"Therefore, if I could somehow figure out how to make my body more 'youthful,' I might then automatically be taking advantage of Nature's innately instilled genetically inherited protections against 'disease' in general [a natural protection hundreds of millions of years in the making]!"
---I liked this idea very much. After all, preventing disease this way came down to figuring out how to do something about offsetting disease and aging at the same time!
---If I could do this, make my body more 'youthful,' I would then, in one fell swoop, have figured out how to do something people have dreamed about for centuries. Realistically, however, I knew I couldn't make myself younger, at least not for real. Nor could I stop the 'real' aging process (as opposed to that part of what we call 'aging' which in fact is not 'aging-related' but rather 'usage-related,' as noted below)."So," I said to myself, "is there something else short of stopping the 'aging process' that I could do to at least make myself 'appear' younger?"
---As you can see from my transformation photos on the Home Page, I did make myself appear younger.
---But did I offset my chances for contracting disease, and will I be 'aging' less than I otherwise would be aging had I not made my transformation?
---I will say this. The answers to these questions are obvious, yet not so obvious, unless you have a truly open mind and are willing to tear down misguided beliefs you might have carried with you throughout your life. I will also say that the answers to these questions are not established medical fact nor scientific dogma. If you want proof you'll have to wait another 100 years, by which time I have no doubt it will be established every day fact. But I don't think waiting will do you any good. Do you? So what's left?
---You'll have to do like I did and figure it out, how to make yourself appear younger. But then again, you don't have the knowhow that I have as to how to go about doing so.I have the advantage. On the other hand, who said I can't help 'you' out?
---To begin, to help you out, I would say you have to ask yourself, "What is aging?" and "What is disease?"
---What if I were to tell you that the vast majority of 'diseases' people eventually succumb to in modern societies throughout the world--as well as many of the preliminary signs and symptoms of aging--are nothing more than the signs and symptoms of a body deteriorating...a body deteriorating secondary to its not having been 'used' the way Nature had always intended and directed it to be used, by virtue of billions of years of evolutionary inheritance which has been instilled within 'your' genes?
---What if I were to tell you that being overweight is a 'disease' or that being unfit, out of shape, unconditioned--however you call it--whether fat or skinny, are also diseases? What if I were to tell you that when you walk down the street and look at an elderly person, much of what you normally consider to be the appearance of their being old is nothing more than being out of shape (and not a part of 'real' aging)? directive
---And what if I tell you that the reason most all of us are not seeing the obvious reasons behind why and how we are deteriorating and breaking down our own bodies has to do with the massive uniformity with which most all of us are not following Nature's directives (a lifestyle compatible with our inherited genes)? After all, is the norm nothing more than what the majority does, or is the majority doing the wrong thing?
---...And why are we so uniformly not following the directives of of our inherited genes? Are we sheep? Do cows being led to their slaughter accept their slaughter as natural? Just because the majority of us prematurely deteriorate, does that make it natural?
---Use you noggin'. Look at my 'before' and 'after' photos again and imagine the photos are
of two different people. Then ask yourself the question, "Which person is more likely to develop some type of disease?"
---You don't have to be a doctor to know that the 'person' in the photo on the left is more likely to develop disease in general while the person on the right is less likely to do so. Common sense will tell you that current medical literature and fitness related and scientific documentation all clearly point to the same answer. Overwhelming evidence to this effect has been pouring in during the past couple of decades, such as from the circumference of the abdomen and its relationship to the incidence of cardiovascular disease; to being overweight being related to heart disease, high blood pressure, cancer and a whole host of other diseases; to being sedentary being related to osteoporosis, muscular atrophy, and so on and so forth.
---In other words, it's not twenty years ago. The fit, trim individual no longer represents merely the high school jock or cheerleader, but rather, and quite significantly represents increased odds or chances toward being healthy and long-lived, especially when the fit and trim physique is maintained throughout a lifetime!
---Succinctly put, a good part of what we call 'aging,' especially the preliminary signs of it, are nothing more than signs and symptoms of improperly using various parts of the body. And when one uses the various parts of the body properly, the resultant transformation doesn't represent reversal of aging. It merely means that the body has gotten back on its natural track, appearing the way Nature intended it to appear. In other words, the massive numbers of people who think they are aging naturally are really aging unnaturally and prematurely. And many of the diseases they are coming down with as they age are nothing more than the signs and symptoms of their progressively deteriorated and unnatural state!
---So how did I transform myself so dramatically in eight months? I realized that the foundation upon which evolutionary change over billions of years has been made rests upon natural 'usage' of the body, all parts inside and out. Nature is very efficient. 'Don't use' a part of the body as Nature intended it to be used and that part physically deteriorates down to the level of function, however minimum, at which that part is being 'unused'! On the other hand, 'use' a part of the body and Nature develops and maintains that part longer than it otherwise would have been maintained without such use.
---This 'use it or lose it' principle has been demonstrated to apply to muscles and bones, ligaments, tendons, and cartilage; to your heart and lungs and vascular system; to your nervous system; and recently even to your brain! I would even venture to theorize it applies to the organs within your body, from your kidneys to your liver, to your pancreas and intestinal tract, and so on.
---After all, 'usage,' either positively or negatively performed, appears to be Nature's universal mechanism for making change for the better or for the worse respectively; and all parts of the body have their specific functions and are used in different ways...
---Some parts require motion (muscles, bones, joints, ligaments, nervous system). Some parts require coordination, balance, agility (musculoskeletal and nervous systems). Some parts require the natural food Nature intended for the body to use. [All parts of the body are affected by food.] Other parts require 'thinking' (the brain)!
---In short, all parts of the body, it appears, have a use; and depending upon the nature of that use, and how that 'usage' is carried out, the part either deteriorates ('disease' and 'aging') or develops and is maintained viable (health and long life).
---'Usage'--the application of stresses to different parts of the body--is not to be taken lightly. On the surface it appears simple. In reality it is quite profound.
and in turn to 'the promotion and maintainance of life itself'
as
'Einstein's theories of relativity' are to 'E=mc2'
and in turn to 'the power behind the atomic bomb'!
---Make no mistake about it. There is a whole new science here...and there is an 'art' to performing it.
---How to perform this new science is what this web site is all about!
